I have been doing yoga for over 30 years and teaching it for over 10 years.  I come from a teaching background, having taught English as a foreign language in private schools in Oxford and at the college in Witney. I have trained to teach yoga with the British Wheel of Yoga (foundation) and Ruth White, who was herself taught by Iyengar. 

The yoga I teach is called Karuna Yoga and has a focus on correct alignment whilst working towards yoga's ultimate aim: to quieten the mind.

In my classes students are guided to work in poses safely and emphasis is given to tailoring the pose to the differing needs and abilities of students through the use of props and variations.  Yoga is about the individual and I fit the yoga to the student rather that the other way round.


I love yoga and the teaching of it and am keen to share its many benefits with students of all ages and abilities.  Yoga is for everyone!
